When going to the beach, there are unwritten rules that most people tend to follow. There's customary behavior that ensures a positive experience for everyone there. Beach etiquette involves being aware of your surroundings and having consideration for the space that you're in. It's extremely important for a few reasons.

  1. Keeping Beaches Clean: Maintaining cleanliness and keeping beaches clean and free of litter helps to preserve wilderness and prevents harming wildlife.

  2. Considering Others: Since beaches are public spaces for everyone to enjoy, it's important to be mindful of others. This can be done by respecting personal space, keeping a reasonable noise level, and not impeding on someone else's enjoyment of the area.

  3. Safety: It is important to follow guidelines for water safety and take necessary measures to prevent hazards on the beach such as flying umbrellas, as that can be extremely dangerous, and even deadly.

All in all, beach etiquette is important to follow and ensures the safety of everyone. If more people followed beach etiquette, less people would be hit with frisbees, footballs, flying umbrellas, etc. Let's all be sure to respect the wildlife, surrounding environment, and other beach goers when at the beach, to ensure it remains a peaceful, fun place for all.
